Central to Patrick's work as a landscape architect is his ability to identify and draw out the true needs and desires of his clients along with the essence of each site, something that gives his collaborations a particular quality of harmony. He has a holistic approach to design and believes that to succeed, a landscape must first reflect each client while also relating and responding to its surroundings, its history, and to the structures within and around it. Patrick’s work purposely abstains from any premeditated vision, superficial theme or specific style. His work draws queues exclusively from his clients and from each site, where each design solutions goal is one of purpose and timelessness.

With an extensive 24+ year background in landscape construction and landscape architecture, Patrick brings a rare combination of pragmatism and a unique design methodology to each project. His highly diverse portfolio, from intimate home gardens to community parks and playgrounds to green roofs to expansive public gardens, provides his clients with a unique array of experiences to help inform and customize their vision for their land.

Most importantly, Patrick is a passionate and experimental builder. At his family home in New Albany, Ohio, he and his wife are in the process of TRANSFORMing the landscape around their beautiful classic Georgian home, Sunnyside.
